Paul Kirschling Named Technical Director at Thiele

Sam J. Smith, President-Elect at Thiele Kaolin Company, announced Paul Kirschling has been promoted to Technical Director, effective January 5, 2004.  Paul joined the company in 1976, and most recently has served as the Manager of Research and Development.

Paul will be responsible for the Research and Development Department, the Paper Research and Applications Laboratory, the Land Department, Process Engineering & Pilot Plant, as well as Thiele’s ISO system.  He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire with a BS Degree in Geology.
